Second Baby Shower

We received so many wonderful gifts, including 1,200 diapers!!!
Even "Grandma" got some gifts - including the chicken dancing chicken!
Tanner now has his own private cabana for the beach!
Of course the event wouldn't be complete without me crying AND a chocolate/peanut butter rice krispie treat baby cake!

My second baby shower, this time at the Martellaro's, was another hit! All kinds of friends and family were there to celebrate the event, all people who have known me for most of my life, which made it that much more special and meaningful. I was completely overwhelmed and humbled by the incredible generosity and support of each person there. Thank you so much to those of you who were there or were there in spirit! I was very touched by your presence! Now we are more than set for Tanner's arrival - from bedding, cute outfits and TONS OF DIAPERS to books and toys - we have all that we need. So fun!!!

9 months pregnant!

More cute baby outfits for Tanner!
Uncle Scott gave us a shopping cart cover with safari animals on it!
At my Great Aunt and Uncle's 60th wedding anniversary

We are finally in our last month of pregnancy! Things are falling into place. The room is almost completed and we're getting closer to having all that we need. I've been getting a bit more uncomfortable - bending over and rolling over have now become chores. I've never loved floating in the pool more than I do now. Tanner is still moving all the time and his movements are much more powerful. We keep wondering what he will look like and how much life will change in just 4 weeks!

First Baby Shower

Tim's brother's family got Tanner his first Giants attire - very appropriate for a Mullikin boy!
Cupcakes! My favorite!

In true Tim and Kristen style, the weather the day of the shower was very warm! Luckily, we had blue punch to cool us off and all kinds of fun treats to eat. It was so fun getting all of these fun items for Tanner to enjoy. I loved seeing my friends and getting to spend time with them - although it is never long enough. Thank you so much to all of you that were there! I was touched by your kindness!

Getting Closer

Yay! We finally found our crib! Tim set it up like a professional crib installer that night. I feel so much better knowing that our last piece of furniture is in place for Tanner's room. We also got a rocking chair and various other items to prepare for Tanner's arrival.
