If you haven't had enough of Tanner yet...

Yes, I am camera crazy...I can't help it!

Tim set up Tanner's swing! He loves it. And, he enjoyed cuddling with his rabbit friend
Ready for his first Cal Rugby game (or at least that's what Tim thinks...)

A trip to the beach (kind of)

He's gotta sleep somewhere, so the card table did the trick for nap time!

Vern has a house overlooking Dillon Beach so Tim and I took Tanner with my parents and Vern to spend the night there. The weather was beautiful but a little chilly. We never actually made it to the beach but enjoyed the beautiful view from the windows of the beach house! We relaxed, played games and I even got to sleep in!

6 weeks old

Tanner has been smiling all the time. He smiles in response to people making faces at him or laughing. He lights up when someone talks to him. He's been sleeping more in the night and also eating more. He is still a very happy and relatively mild-mannered little boy!

Ready for Halloween

After getting his picture taken at JCPenney, Tanner fell asleep in his costume so I was happy to leave him in it!
Grandma Mullikin sent Tanner all kinds of Halloween goodies. Here he is in his t-shirt, black cat hat and bat socks.

Grandma Baby Shower

The shower was at Carol's house on the golf course. The setting was absolutely beautiful! Here we are with Carol and Diane
The cake was delicious

He was very well behaved the whole shower, barely making a peep!

On October 8th, about 13 of my mom's golfing friends came together at Carol's house on the golf course to celebrate Tanner's birth and throw him a "Grandma Baby Shower." The weather was perfect and Carol had decorated all the tables beautifully, complete with homeade caramel apples for everyone. We also played Baby Shower Memory which is like the memory game that kids play only this time all the numbers had a pregnancy term on the back and if you got a match, you received a candy bar that went along with the term. For example, I matched "Pregnancy Belly" and the candy I got for winning the match was Jelly Bellies! It was very creative and a lot of fun. I was very humbled by everyone's kindness and it was fun showing Tanner off.

Likes and Dislikes

Things Tanner likes:
-his pacifier
-foot massages
-Tim singing to him
-car rides
-clean diapers
-curling in a ball and sleeping on me
-eating! (the more the better!)
-being rocked
-warm water
-being held
-his hands (they are his best friends and are always by his face)
-the peanut shell wrap - he falls asleep in seconds when I put him in there (see picture above)
-the sound of laughter
-people making funny faces at him

Things Tanner dislikes:
-his bottle being taken away
-being cold
-getting a diaper change when he's hungry
-burping - it takes too long!

Our Little Pumpkin

After much searching, I finally found a Halloween costume small enough for Tanner. Not very original but you have to admit, he does look quite cute in it!

Dinner!

Dionne and her mom, Judy, came over and made us a delicious dinner and dessert! Thanks D!

Mr. Smiley

Tanner has been smiling a lot lately - especially in response to someone talking to him and making faces at him. He just lights up when I laugh at him or when Tim rubs his belly! He is also tracking us. When we walk around and behind him he will follow us with his eyes. He is also eating a lot more!

Cuddle Time

One of my favorite things to do is to cuddle with Tanner in the morning. At that moment, there is nowhere else I'd rather be and nothing else I would rather be doing.
Out like a light!
Getting bigger
Tanner has been sleeping well at night - sometimes over 5 hours at once! But he is sleeping less during the day, which I would much rather have anyway!

One month old

We went out to dinner with Vern to celebrate Tanner's one month birthday Of course, Tanner slept the entire time!
