San Luis Obispo

Em and Kris
Laying comfortably on my stomach at Avila Beach
Ryan graduates from Cal Poly!

Tim and I headed to San Luis Obispo and had a great weekend of sunshine and seeing friends. We got to spend time with Em and Dan before they moved to Venezuela. Thank you Em for providing Tanner with his first pair of reef sandals! The next day we hung out in San Luis Obispo and went to Avila Beach. I dug myself a hole for my stomach and got to lay down face first for the first time in 7 months. It was unbelievably comfortable. That night we attended a graduation party for our friends Ryan and Jesse. Sunday morning was spent at Cal Poly's graduation and then we headed home.

Painting

One of the best places ever in Reno - The Chocolate Bar -where I drank such a huge hot dark chocolate that I felt physically sick after! But it was delicious!

Painting Tanner's bedroom
Bring on the zebra print!

We finally painted Tanner's bedroom! The bottom half is a chocolate brown and we're leaving the top half white. Once we get the border on the wall I'll post a picture of what it looks like now. The theme in the bedroom is "safari" complete with zebra print blankets! We spent last weekend in Reno to attend the opening of Kimmie Candy Chocolate Factory where Tim and I manned the cash register/gift shop. While in Reno we went to the Chocolate Bar, I enjoyed a fabulous pregnancy massage while Tim went to a car museum, and we experienced a 3.9 earthquake! When we got home we learned there were 20 smaller earthquakes while we were there. Last week I had a doctor's appointment and everything looks good still. Tanner has been kicking a lot lately. It is always fun watching my stomach wiggle where Tanner moves. I've been good about keeping track of "kick counts" and timing how long it takes him to make 10 movements. I also started a maternity water aerobics class with 5 other pregnant women. It's been good for stretching, trying to maintain muscle tone, and of course swapping stories about being pregnant!
